TNT by Smart
TNT SIM Registration: Official Smart Portal, Requirements and Steps
Register a new TNT physical SIM or eSIM through Smart’s verified platform, save the control number and resolve OTP, ID, selfie and confirmation problems safely.
Open Smart’s official SIM-registration portal, enter the TNT mobile number, read the terms and privacy notice, request and enter the OTP, complete the subscriber form, upload an accepted ID, take the required selfie, correct any information extracted from the ID, attest to accuracy, submit and save the control number.
Who needs to register a TNT SIM?
- New TNT Prepaid users: register before the SIM is activated for normal service.
- New TNT eSIM users: TNT says its Prepaid eSIM is registered through the same Smart portal.
- Owners of several SIMs: register each TNT or Smart SIM separately and accurately.
- Minors: the parent or legal guardian registers the SIM under that adult’s name.
- Foreign nationals and organizations: choose the applicable path and provide the additional documents required by law and Smart.
For a Smart-branded number, use the Smart SIM registration guide. Smart Bro and PLDT Home WiFi have separate device-specific guidance.
What to prepare
- The TNT mobile number and access to its SMS inbox.
- Full name, date of birth, present address, sex and the other fields requested by the live form.
- One valid government-issued photo ID offered by Smart’s current portal.
- A clear ID image and a device camera for the required selfie.
- A way to retain the final control number and confirmation.
IDs listed in TNT’s official guide
TNT lists examples from RA 11934 including passport, Philippine Identification/National ID, SSS ID, GSIS e-Card, driver’s license, NBI or police clearance, firearms-license ID, PRC ID, IBP ID, OWWA ID, BIR ID, voter’s ID, Senior Citizen card, UMID and PWD card, plus other valid government-issued photo IDs.
How to register a TNT SIM online
Open Smart’s verified portal
Use simreg.smart.com.ph or begin from TNT’s official guide. Do not trust a domain simply because “TNT” appears in its name.
Enter the TNT mobile number
Follow the number format shown by Smart and check every digit before continuing.
Read the terms and request the OTP
Review Smart’s terms and privacy notice, then request the one-time PIN through the portal.
Enter the OTP on the same portal
Retrieve the code from the TNT SIM’s text inbox. Never give it to a seller, social-media account or “registration assistant.”
Complete the subscriber form
Enter the requested personal and address details accurately and choose the correct registrant type.
Upload an accepted ID and take a selfie
Keep the ID complete and readable and follow Smart’s current selfie or liveness prompts.
Correct extracted information
Smart may prefill fields from the ID image. Compare every field with the document and manually correct recognition errors before continuing.
Review and attest to accuracy
Check the full summary and accept the declaration only when the information and document are genuine and correct.
Submit and save the control number
Screenshot or securely record the control number and retain Smart’s confirmation for support follow-up.
Can TNT be registered in the Smart app?
TNT’s official registration page documents both the Smart web portal and an app-led route historically labeled GigaLife. Smart’s current consumer app is the Smart App. Because app labels and dashboard cards change, use only the SIM-registration action shown in the official current app; the web portal above remains the clearest direct route.
Never install an APK from a guide site or use an app publisher that is not Smart Communications, Inc.
How to check TNT registration status
- Keep the control number and look for Smart’s successful-registration confirmation.
- Check the TNT account in the Smart app for a Registered or Unregistered badge.
- Alternatively, enter the TNT number on Smart’s official registration portal and follow the status prompt shown after verification.
- Use official Smart support when the app and portal disagree or the registration is not yours.

TNT registration troubleshooting
| Problem | Safe next step |
|---|---|
| OTP did not arrive | Check the number, signal and SMS inbox, then wait for the official portal’s resend control. Avoid repeated requests and contact Smart if no code arrives. |
| OTP expired or was rejected | Request a fresh code on the same official portal. Do not reuse or share the previous OTP. |
| ID upload failed | Choose an ID from the live Smart menu, capture the full document without glare and use the file/camera method the portal currently offers. |
| Prefilled details are wrong | Edit the OCR result before submission so it matches the ID. Do not attest to information you know is inaccurate. |
| Selfie check failed | Allow camera access, use even lighting, remove filters and follow the live face-position instructions. |
| No confirmation after submission | Retain the control number, inspect the account in the Smart app or portal and use official support. |
| Number is already registered | Do not resubmit on another site. Investigate through Smart if you do not recognize or cannot access the registration. |
| Registered but no service | Restart the device, verify the registration badge and ask Smart to separate activation, account, SIM validity, device and network faults. |
| Portal or app will not load | Verify the official domain or app publisher, reopen/update it, try a stable connection and consult Smart support if the issue persists. |

Minors, foreigners, eSIM and multiple TNT SIMs
Minor
The SIM is registered under the parent or legal guardian, who supplies consent and identification. See the minor-registration guide.

- Use Smart’s authorized process to correct registered information or transfer ownership.
- Remember that registration does not override ordinary prepaid validity and inactivity rules.
- Do not buy or sell a TNT SIM as a ready-to-use pre-registered number.
