1. Insert the SIM and get signal

2. Open your carrier’s registration portal

   Go to the official link for your network only. Globe and TM: simreg.globe.com.ph. Smart, TNT, Sun: simreg.smart.com.ph. DITO: dito.ph/sim-registration.

3. Verify with OTP

Who must register

Anyone who buys or uses a new SIM in the Philippines must register it under their real name. This covers prepaid, postpaid, data-only, and most fixed-wireless SIMs (Globe At Home, Smart Bro, DITO Home WiFi). Existing SIMs that were registered before should stay registered — check status if you are unsure.

4. Upload or scan your ID and take a live selfie if prompted.
5. Review and submit. Save any confirmation reference number or screenshot.
6. Check status after a few minutes using the carrier app or portal — SMS codes can conflict between sources, so prefer the app when possible.
